The short version
We don't collect your data. Lull has no accounts and no servers that receive anything about you. Whatever Apple or Google collect when you download or subscribe is on them, under their own policies — not us.
What stays on your device
Your saved blends, volumes, timer and wake preferences are stored locally on your device. They never leave it and never reach us. Delete the app and they're gone.
What we don't do
No account. No login. No advertising and no third-party trackers. We don't request your microphone, location, contacts, or photos. Lull only needs to play audio.
Apple & Google
When you install or purchase, the app store processes the transaction and may collect data — device info, payment details, usage — under Apple's or Google's privacy policies, which we don't control. From them we receive only aggregate, anonymized figures, like how many people subscribed. Never your identity.
Children
Lull isn't directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age where you live), and we don't knowingly collect their data — which is easy, since we don't collect anyone's.

Using Lull
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Lull and its sounds for your own non-commercial enjoyment. Please don't record, redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the app or its audio, or use it as the soundtrack to a commercial product, without our written permission.
Initiate & billing
Initiate comes three ways: a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The yearly plan opens with a 7-night free trial; unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it converts to the yearly price and renews each year until you cancel. We send a reminder before the trial converts — that part is on us, not a legal nicety. The lifetime purchase is paid once and does not renew. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account on confirmation. You manage or cancel subscriptions in your app store account settings. Refunds are handled by the app store under its own policies, not by us.
Price changes
Prices may change. A new price applies only to renewals after the store has given you notice, and you can always cancel before it takes effect.
As-is, no claims
Lull is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. It is not a medical device and makes no health claims (see the Fine Print). To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of — or inability to fall asleep with — the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version, and we'll flag material changes in the app.

What Lull is
Lull produces sounds. That is the entire product. The sounds are generated on your device in real time — there are no recordings, no field, and no shamans, Himalayan or otherwise, were consulted, blessed, or compensated.
Not a medical device
Lull is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, including insomnia, restlessness, or a generally long day. If you have a sleep disorder, please talk to a real doctor — not an app with a starfield. Results, if any, are not guaranteed and vary by person, room, and ceiling.
About the Esoterica
Binaural tones, biphasic chakras, sub-audible waves, theta fields, the 432 Hz anomaly, and the subliminal affirmations are offered for ambiance and amusement. We make no claims about what they do. Any effects you experience are yours to keep and ours to take no credit for. The affirmations are between you and your subconscious; we do not transcribe them, and neither should you.
Your ears
Sound can damage hearing at high volume, especially through headphones and especially overnight. Keep it gentle. You are responsible for your own volume knob.

Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the app store on your device (Google Play or App Store), go to Subscriptions, and cancel from there. Lull doesn't handle billing directly — the store does.
Will I be charged when the trial ends?
Yes — unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends. We also send you a reminder the night before, so there are no surprises.
The app isn't playing sound.
Check that your device isn't muted and that Lull has audio permission. On Android, make sure battery optimization isn't killing the app in the background.
